1. Who we are
Mobile Axe RVA (“Mobile Axe RVA,” “we,” “us”) is a mobile axe throwing event service based in Richmond, Virginia. We bring a coached axe throwing range to events across Richmond and Virginia. This policy covers our website at mobileaxerva.com (the “Site”) and the quote, booking, and payment communications that follow a request made through it.
2. Information you give us
When you request a quote, request a booking date, or use the event planning checklist, we ask for the details we need to price and plan your event. Depending on the form, this can include:
- Your name, and your company, property, or event name
- Email address and phone number
- Event details: event type, date and start time, duration, location or city, estimated guest count, package or event size, setup surface, timeline, and preferred contact method
- How you heard about us, and any notes you choose to add
If you call or text us, we keep the contact details and event information you share so we can follow up.
3. Information collected automatically
Marketing attribution
When you arrive from an ad or a search result, the Site records how you got here: the channel (for example Google Ads, Google search, or a referring website), any advertising click identifier in the link (such as a Google gclid or Meta fbclid), campaign, ad group, and keyword parameters, the page you landed on, and the time. This is stored in your browser’s local storage for up to 90 days and is attached to a quote or booking request if you send one. We use it to understand which marketing actually produces events.
Analytics and advertising measurement
The Site uses Google Tag Manager to load the following Google services, which set cookies and collect device, browser, and usage information (pages viewed, approximate location based on IP address, and interactions such as form submissions and phone-number taps):
- Google Analytics 4 — site usage and conversion measurement.
- Google Ads conversion tracking — measures when an ad click leads to a quote request, booking request, or phone call. Google Ads call tracking may display a Google forwarding phone number in place of ours so that calls from ads can be counted.
We may also use the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel to measure the results of Meta advertising. When active, it collects similar usage information and reports quote and booking submissions to Meta. See Meta’s privacy policy for details.

Server logs
Our hosting provider records standard request information such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, used for security, rate limiting, and troubleshooting.
4. How we use information
- To respond to your quote or booking request, confirm availability, and plan your event
- To send quotes, booking confirmations, invoices, receipts, and event-day logistics by email, text message, or phone
- To send a short automatic confirmation email when you submit a request
- To keep records of past and upcoming events and payments
- To measure and improve our marketing and the Site
- To protect the Site from spam, abuse, and fraud
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that make the Site and our bookings work, and only for those purposes:
- Netlify — hosts the Site and stores form submissions.
- Slack — delivers an internal notification to our team when a request comes in.
- Google — Tag Manager, Analytics, and Ads (described above); we may also log requests to a private Google Sheet and add confirmed events to a Google Calendar.
- Resend — sends our transactional emails (confirmations, quotes, invoices, receipts).
- Stripe — processes deposits and payments. Card details are entered directly with Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers. See Stripe’s privacy policy.
- Twilio — may be used to send booking-related text messages.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the safety of guests, staff, or property.
6. Cookies and your choices
The Site sets cookies only through the Google services above; the Site itself uses browser local storage (not cookies) for the marketing attribution described in Section 3 and for small preferences such as the sound setting on our game page. You can:
- Block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. The Site works without them.
- Send a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser. When we detect it, we do not load Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel and we set Google’s consent signals to “denied” for advertising storage and personalization.
- Opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Control ad personalization at Google Ads Settings and in your Meta ad preferences.
7. Text messages
If you give us a phone number and ask us to call or text you, we may text you about your quote or event. Reply STOP to any text to opt out. Message and data rates may apply.
8. Retention
We keep quote and booking records, including the contact details on them, for as long as we need them to run the business and meet accounting and legal requirements. You can ask us to delete your request at any time (see Section 11) and we will do so unless we need to keep it for a completed booking, payment, or legal reason.
9. Security
The Site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are validated and rate-limited on our servers, and access to stored requests is limited to our team. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
The Site is intended for adults planning events. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Your rights and how to reach us
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop marketing communications. Contact us and we will respond within a reasonable time:
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Site or our services change. The effective date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
